I have to say I feel more cliché than usual….listening to Nouvelle Vague’s song, ‘This is not a love song,’ I cannot help but feel the usual love clichés of this valentine’s season. I am as bitter as the next independent human, but I cannot help but be enthralled in yet another holiday, hallmark-made or not, it is very much a holiday and we must accept and be bitter. Lust will keep us together, Conformism will keep us stable, and Love…..I haven’t figured that one out yet. Furthermore, there is hope! One must remember there is another to this valentine shenanigan, and that is for us bitter-unaccompanied-ones…..the friendship thing. Since this is a spanking new blog, it is more appropriate than ever to relate back to our commencement (hehe), the whole reason why this was started was friendship, and lack of space to keep my wonderful pictures in a more decent space ;) (keep loving the pictures bish). Friendship is what will keep the bitter, more sweet, especially with surprise packages that arrive filled with Mexican candy and delicious chocolate, heart erasers, heart photo holders, heart ice trays, perfumed powder, lip balms, heart mini notebooks, plush roses, rose lollipops, valentine’s letters and churritos J I am extremely grateful to have a friend that makes my bitter days more bearable with surprise packages and texts. . If you don’t have friends, you can make friends with art, that is also good, but now I’m going off on tangents…. Happy Valentine’s Day to all my bitter humans.  Go find your sugar, Aunt Jemima advice :) Thank yous Ivette, my smile will last for days ;)
